COVID-19

COVID 19 has completely changed our lives. Most people were not prepared including myself. People lost their jobs and unemployment claims in Canada went up. Restaurant and bars were closed. That scenery looked unreal to me. I have heard reporters calling it surreal all the time. People were thrown in situations they never have been before. They got confused and scared especially when they heard Ontario doctors reporting the number of COVID cases in hospitals.

Many things have been eliminated. For example; at work , we stopped having our happy hour and no more social gathering are arranged. In addition, we stopped planning and we got stuck at the present. I felt that there is no future. During this time, we were stressed and overwhelmed.

More importantly, COVID 19 has changed our relation ships. First, I stopped shaking hands since COVID started. Then I fully practised social distancing with my friends and neighbours. That was really hard on me and I miss the normal life big times.

Luckily, Social media played a major role during COVID and we were able to contact each other all over the world.

In conclusion, we all hope scientists will come up with a vaccine or a treatment for this virus that will provide comfort to everyone.
