Last week my family and I drove to Ottawa for a summer vacation. We stayed for one week. We had a list of places to visit. This list included museums, parks, rivers, islands and buildings. Unfortunately, we did not visit all of the sites. During my first day in Ottawa I spent all the day at the hotel because it was raining. I should never forget about that day. The next day, after our breakfast, we started our journey. We went to downtown Ottawa and visited all the major state buildings. I specially liked their architectures. The state building’s architecture reminded me of the Victorians architecture. Then after that we went to Jacques Cartier Park to visit the landscape design. Unfortunately, they do not have the landscape design anymore. After this misfortune, we decided to visit some relatives and friends in the evening. On that day I also played Uno with my family. The next day, we visited the Major Hill Park. We spent half of the day in that park. After that, we decided to go to the Keg restaurant to eat some rib and vegetable soup. At the end of the day, we went back to the hotel and spent quality time with each other. The next day we took 30 minutes to go to a beautiful island. The children enjoyed the water and wanted to stay for more time. We spent about 5 hours on the island, we played chest, ran, ate and made some jokes. At the end of the day we returned to downtown Ottawa to visit the city. The next day, we went to Gatineau Park and at the end of the day we visited some of my husband’s friends. It was an amazing trip full of fun and excitement. I love Ottawa. The possibility to live there is still in my head.
