Activity

I went for vacation to Quetico Park with my husband. It is in Northwestern Ontario. We made the reservation one month before. We started our travels on August 10 and came back home on August 19.

We enjoyed our trip a lot because this park is very beautiful and all of it is nature. I like this special contact with nature. We went camping on a beautiful and special island. We found many trees and some kinds of birds. The birds that we saw were: eagles, ducks, a hummingbird, loon, seagulls, raven and grouse. We did a long portage and a long paddle. One time, the paddle was very hard because it was very windy. Other times, the paddle was very easy and beautiful because the lake was like a mirror, and we could see the reflection from the sky, trees and rocks in the lake. It was a very wonderful experience! I felt like I was in heaven. We ate very well, delicious meals. Some nights we saw many stars and several meteorites, the sky was very clear, beautiful and impressive. We could not imagine how infinite it is. It was a wonderful travel. After I came back home, I needed a vacation for rest from this vacation, but I enjoyed a lot.
