Activity

I used to hate exercise. Exercise required commitment, will power, and loads of motivation. I was scared that I might give up on it if I ever tried it, and I didn’t want to feel that kind of failure.

But something changed. After I had the first baby, I realized my health had taken a turn for the worse. I usually felt tense and had a high stress level. I was forced to do the exercise to improve my physical health and mental health too, and so I started working out. And I discovered that Yoga brings so much more benefit than I expected; it helps to nurture my body and my mind.

After a few weeks practicing, I noticed amazing changes in my health. I became a new person without any more stress, and I felt happier. I was feeling stronger than ever and I wished I had known this sport earlier.

Other sports mainly focus on physical development, health and flexibility of the muscles. This is good, but it’s not enough. A healthy body can bring about mental excitement, but it’s not always only about having a healthy body. Our spirit also needs to be happy because in life people face a lot of anxiety and sorrow. The difference with yoga is the focus on developing the inner brain of people, which not all sports can do.

Focusing on each slow movement combined with deep breathing exercises refreshes the mind and relaxes the body, so that you are no longer bothered by vague thoughts. This mental training makes you feel happy and more optimistic about your life. That is the miracle that yoga brings.

Yoga is a long-term and sustainable solution for a healthy body. It provides comprehensive benefits both physically and mentally. Those who have been practicing yoga will surely notice these benefits. Those who do not know what yoga is, or those who are new to yoga or practice at a low level but have not seen any benefits, don’t give up. Continue to practice regularly and in the right way, because, there will definitely come a time when you will feel the change that yoga brings in both mind and body.
