I came to Canada from Ukraine in 2018. I will never forget this day. That day I felt very strange, because everything was different and it was difficult to start a new life without friends and family.

On the other hand, I was happy because my husband was with me and helped with everything. I moved to Canada because my husband had been working here for 6 years and wanted me to be with him. So I finally got the documents from the Canadian government and decided to start a new life in a new country.

On my first day in Canada, I knew few English words. I couldn't speak very well and didn't understand people. And that was the first reason why I took online English courses. I am still studying English and will recommend LINC Home Study Canada English courses to everyone.

The next task for me was to meet my husband's friends and employer’s family. It was very difficult. In those moments I wanted to cry and return to Ukraine. I didn't understand anything, I didn't know how to behave. Today, remembering these moments, I smile. But I understand that I still have a lot to learn and improve.

I was also amazed at how big and beautiful this country is, how diverse Canada's nature is. Moreover, Canada has kind, friendly people who are always ready to help you. And I had the honor to meet such the best people.

Now I am happy to live in Canada with my husband. My husband's employer hired me on their farm, where I work for the second year. My employer and his family are very nice people and I am very grateful to them for everything.

I love this country.
