Education

stack of books

Education plays a vital role in everyone’s lives. As a result, primary education is free in most countries around the world, including in my home country, India. In my opinion, the Indian education system is exceptionally good. Mostly theoretical subjects are taught in primary school, such as sciences and math. Some practical subjects are then added to the curriculum in secondary school, such as English, computers, etc. In addition, recreational subjects like music and painting are an option to take in secondary school. In contrast, in Canada, I feel that most education is based on practical knowledge. There are more recreational activities here than in India.

I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biotechnology from India. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to get a job in my field in Canada. After the lack of success in finding a job in my field here, I have decided to update my degree. In order to that, I must get band 7 on the English language test. Then, I can get admission to university. I would like to study Biotechnology again in Canada.

Science was my favourite subject in school. I liked to study Human Anatomy. I was always curious to learn about what happens inside our bodies, like how food digests, how different thoughts come into our minds, how our body works, etc. This is the main reason I enjoyed science. I also liked math and got top marks in this subject.

I hope that all my efforts from back home will help me succeed in my field here so that I can continue to learn, as well as offer my knowledge to the field of Biotechnology.
