The exercise that I love most is walking. Especially, I have been spending a lot of time walking since I immigrated to Canada. Walking always keeps me in shape and helps me feels me better. I have been walking to class, grocery stores, market or wherever I need to go instead of going by car. Actually, I neither have a car which is available during the daytime nor like to drive. So walking is the best way to reach my destination as well. I also like to ride a bicycle but there are a couple of reasons that I choose walking as my most favorite.

The first reason is that it doesn't require any gears to start, all you need for walking is just healthy body and time. In contrast, I used to prepare many gears to go for riding. The second reason is that it is less affected by weather. The place where I lived before coming to Canada, rarely had snow in winter, so I could ride a bicycle even in winter if I wanted. However, it is not doable in Canada's winter. Here I can enjoy walking regardless of the weather. Walking in rain or snow is also as exciting as walking under clear sky. The last reason is that Canada has very nice environment for walking. It has many seasons and fresh air all around seasons in addition to beautiful parks everywhere. If you can overcome laziness, you can go outside and enjoy all of these for free and healthy body would be a bonus.
