We are so excited that summer is around the corner; unofficially it starts after Victoria Day. Most of us will be busy doing some gardening, such as planting flowers, grass, vegetables, or decorating the garden. We could find many different kinds of flowers in the nursery, like marigold, chrysanthemums, lilies, daisies, roses, tulips, hydrangeas and so on.

I love rose plants the most. The most important is that it's easy to grow and it blooms twice a year. Roses come in a variety of colours and sizes. We planted red, yellow, pink and white coloured roses. And they are different sizes, some are large, some are small. Even their smell is also different.

Gardening is not easy work. We should know when to plant, when to water, when to cut and prune, and when to fertilize. If you want to make your garden look beautiful, you have to design it and decorate it. Some people love to make a pond in the garden and have fish as it is very relaxing to feed the fish. Some people love to put some wind chimes, gnomes or leprechauns in their garden that means good luck. Some people will also have solar lamps.

In China, some people love waterfalls and rockeries or a pond less waterfall because they are not only beautiful but also mean treasure.

Even though we can't go out to camp because of the pandemic, to travel, to get together with our friends, we could easily stay with our family and make our garden more beautiful by spending more time in the garden. Then, we could keep ourselves in a good mood relaxing in our beautiful garden.
