Travel (Outside of Canada)

Very excited to go back with my 8 months old son to visit his grandma and grandpa in Hungary. I bought toys for him to make sure he can have entertainment on the plane because we had a long airplane ride, the first 10 hours and then 2.5 hours. I thought will be hard with him but when the plane took off he went to sleep right away and because this was his bedtime almost he luckily slept through to the 10 hours flight time. I was very proud of him.

I can give you this little tip, if you can, go when the little one has almost a bedtime and go on a long airplane ride that is the best to do. And, try not to worry too much because they can feel the energy and take the feeling out of you and they become nervous as well. Everything will work out if we believe it they can adjust very quickly too. We just have to trust them also.

We arrived to my parents’ place and they were so happy to see my son. My mom she was here in Canada when he was born and she saw him but my father has never been to Canada. He saw him for the first time. My little son learned to walk in Hungary, which was so precious. We went to the zoo with him and he liked every animal there. All summer time he was lot of times in the pool at my parents' house. They had a big backyard and we had a lot of fun with my boy. He was helping my father to fix motorcycles, enjoyed to go to his shop and looking at all the fun tools there. He enjoyed it there because lots of real loving people were around him.

Sadly came the time when we had to say goodbye to my parents and come back to Canada and start our routine again. Because he learnt to walk in Hungary now back on the plane was little bit challenging but he still was such a good boy who adjusted everything so quickly. I had to walk with him a lot and he was just exploring around.

Overall it was a memorable experience!!
