Employment

Finding employment in Canada is not an easy process. As a newcomer, I have noticed many cultural differences between Canada and Ukraine. I realized how hard it is to find a job without information. When you arrive in a new country you should look for good information and resources.

The best way for me was to use special courses about employment. I chose a Clerical and Computer Skills course from a non-profit organization.

The help that I got from them was priceless. My teacher explained not only computer science. She shared information about business and workplace culture. For example, how to write a resume using Canadian conventions. Another thing I learned was how to find a good job with my work experience. Something that was especially useful to practice for a job interview.

However, a lot depends on your experience and your drive.
I hope using these tips will help everyone find their dream job in Canada.
