Today I want to tell you about the types of houses built in Ukraine. Houses in my country have the same size as the Canadian ones. In Ukraine people don't build homes with wood; they are usually made with cement and concrete blocks. Also, they are not built with a basement; instead, people make an attic under the roof. The garage and the house are not built together; they are made separately. Ukrainian people like to build a balcony at the upper floor of their house. All the rest is very similar with Canadian homes, but the backyard is different.

In Ukraine people try to use the backyard as an extra-large garden. They like to cultivate vegetables and fruits. Also, people make barns for domestic animals and for storage. I almost forgot about the fence; every house and property have a fence and the bigger it is the better. When you buy a house in Ukraine, it comes with cupboards and stove in the kitchen, but the fridge and microwave are not included. The newly built houses come with a dishwasher, but the older houses do not have this included. When all these items are included, the sale price is higher for the house.
