Chocolate cookies mix and frame

Peace by Chocolate is one of my favourite movies. This is a movie based on a true story. This movie is very inspiring to all immigrants and refugees. I think every immigrant or refugee can relate to the story. This is not easy to survive in a new country; it always has a challenging period. Learning a new language, starting a new career, homesickness, loneliness, anxiety, food, different weather, adapting to a new culture, etc..

In this movie, they show how Tareq Hadhad and his family came to Canada after getting attacked in the Syrian civil war and how they struggle to settle in a new country. Tareq wanted to be a doctor, but he had to help his father first to establish their chocolate factory business. It was not easy at all. They had to face many difficulties and problems.

I really like their passion about business and their family bonding. They were really blessed to have such an amazing community and neighbours or friends. For me, community support is important, especially in a new country when you don’t have any idea about the new environment. They can encourage you and offer you ideas. I learned from the movie that nobody should lose hope, just need to push yourself and there is a path for you. Tareq didn’t lose his hope to become a doctor even though he was very busy with their successful chocolate business.

I would like to recommend this movie to everyone, especially to those, who likes realistic and family movies. You must watch this movie at least once!
