Celebration

I'll tell you about my 20-th birthday.

Honestly it was a lonely but awesome day and I'll tell you why. This day I usually spend time with my family, preparing some food, cooking for a big table, discussing what we will do in the evening, who is coming over and when. It's usually a busy but comfortable day. But on my 20-th birthday, I was alone because I was in Poland and couldn't go home. I went to my lectures as usual, and my friends greeted me for my birthday there. When I got home, I bought a small cake on the way. I decided to eat it with tea while talking to my parents. During that conversation there was a knock on my door. I lived in an apartment, as it turned out my friends had arranged a surprise for me. They looked so excited and we spent the whole day together.

We played board games, watched movies, and talked about this and that. It was one of my most memorable days, even though I celebrated without my family.
