I can’t believe the summer was over so quickly. But the last week of the summer was great and we had an amazing vacation.

My friend’s family and I with my daughters went to the city Leamington. Our cottage was situated on the shore of the lake Erie. There was an awesome view from the front windows of the house. The second day of our vacation we went to Point Pelee National park. It’s a great place with cycling and hiking trails, great beaches and picnic areas. We walked to the most southern point of mainland of Canada, it was incredibly beautiful. Then we went to the beach and found a great place to stay there. The wind was very strong and the waves on the lake were really high. While I was sitting on the beach, my kids were swimming, diving and jumping in the lake. There were lots of the paddles and we found some really beautiful and took them home. While we were staying there, lots of turkey vultures were flying in the air. It was the first time I saw a turkey vulture. The next few days we went to this place again and again. In the morning of the last day we went canoeing. It was a great experience! We even saw a grey heron.

It was a great time with our friends!
