Fried Wonton Recipe

This is my favorite food recipe from China. We call this food Wanton. It is easy to cook and when I make it, everyone I know thinks it is delicious. I hope you can try this recipe and have a little bit of China in your home.
Ingredients:
- 3/4-pound ground pork
- 1/4-pound shrimp meat chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package wonton skins
Directions:
- Mix pork, shrimp meat, celery, soy sauce and salt in bowl;
- Place 1/2 teaspoon mixture in center of each wonton skin. Wet wonton skin margin and fold margin over mixture to paste it together;
- Heat oil to 350 degrees F.
- Deep-fry wontons 2 to 3 minutes until brown and crispy;
- Serve warm with optional sweet & sour sauce.
