One of my favourite activities in summer is to go to the beach. So, when my teacher asked me to write about my favourite summer gateway, I decided to write about my trip to a beach that became my favourite gateway.

A few weeks ago, one of my trips for work related reasons, brought me to Hamilton Confederation Park Beach in Hamilton, Ontario. Before this trip, I didn’t know this place existed in Hamilton. The place was so peaceful and serene that I felt like forgetting about work and just staying there, but I was working that day and this was a work-related trip, so I promised myself to come on a Sunday when I will be off. I kept the promise I had made to myself; packed up the necessary items and went to this beach. I had a great time there. I love to walk on the beach, so spent a long time there just walking.

Before finding out about this beach I used to go to the Burlington beach, but since I discovered this place, I go there every Sunday to enjoy the nice weather and do all my exercises. This is my new summer getaway for now.
