Family

Most people love their families; when they think about them, I’m sure they feel safe and loved. I know I do.

With the whole situation around COVID-19, we are not as close to our families physically but, thanks to technology, we can be closer than ever before. It doesn’t matter if your family is in another part of the world; you can stay connected with a simple video call. You can also do fun things together, like cook, watch a movie, eat, walk, play video games and even do laundry together because of the power of our phones, iPads, etc.

‘Family’ is an amazing word with a lot of meaning for me. It’s amazing to know there are other people who are just like me! People who do things the same way as me or the same as each other. For example, whenever I’ve watched my mother folding clothes, I’ve found it funny that my sister folds them the exact same way. I also find it amusing that my brother walks in the same manner as me. My mother always says that I can’t eat any meals without a hot chili on her plate, just like her!

Family is the people who love you no matter who you are or what you have and I’m so grateful to have mine.
