Settlement

I came to Canada in April 2019. I have landed here with my family. Luckily, that time winter is almost finished. When I came here, everything was new to me. I was confused with left hand driving because I had waited on the opposite side for getting the bus to my living place. I never experienced left hand driving in my life before I came here. 

Slowly, I adopted all the differences and varieties I faced here and tried to understand them it. We could not believe the weather in Canada. It always changes and I have practised to check daily weather report before I go somewhere else. But the weather forecasting is absolutely right and it helps me lot to wear or keep more clothes when we go outside.

Also, I would like to say Canada is a mini world because people from all over the world are settled here. We can see the diversity in workforce on all categories of jobs. But main thing I faced here is living expense, it's always increasing day by day. I am a MBA graduate but I am working as a general labor right now. I am paying $1485 as monthly rent. Around 75% of my income  directly goes as monthly rent. Tax rates are also very high here. Government should have to control the house/apartment rent in Canada. Canada is a country with high living cost especially for newly arrived people here.

On the other hand, Canada is providing free health facilities for people but we have to pay for medicines. For The people without insurance from their job it is very difficult to pay the money for medicines. Especially dental is very costly here. Dental and eye are not part of the health card. Both this dental and eye are essential part of the human body. So it should be also included in health card facility. In my opinion, the dental and rental expenses should be controlled by government of Canada. Also, the government should have implement maximum retail price system for medicines. The pharmacies should be controlled by the government. The pharmacies charge different prices for one medicines and it is not affordable to common people. I feel that the pharmacies are real stealers of Canada.

In conclusion, positives and negatives are parts of the world. In Canada, there are lots of positive sides for being a good life but nation should be control some benefits to their residents here and concentrate to control all types of medical expenses and reduce the taxes. If the government is reducing the tax, the people get more money and they spent it into the market. It will increase the job opportunities and government gets more money back as tax than this present tax system.
