I started to learn English at the high school. I remember that English was the worst course I had. I didn’t like English. When I found my first job, I realized the importance of English and then I began again to learn English.

When I arrived in Canada, I couldn’t understand people, it was so weird to have people speaking around you and you don’t catch anything. When my phone would ring, I didn’t answer because I knew that I didn’t understand. To resolve this problem my wife signed me up for the LINC Home Study program. Since September 2018 I taken the courses to improve my English.

I am happy to be in this program, but I need to work harder because my level does not match with my ambition. From the start of March, I decided to go to the next step: to be able to speak and understand English properly.
