Education

Engineer working with wind turbines.

I recently enrolled in a post-secondary diploma program in Civil Engineering Design and Technology, which is the most challenging and time-consuming compared to other programs.

Most of the courses are conducted online, and while this offers flexibility, it also brings technical issues such as unstable Internet connections. Thankfully, the school provides recorded lectures, which are a great help for reviewing. However, due to my current limitations in English listening and speaking, I find the learning process quite demanding. Initially, the school used outdated software, which made things even harder, but later they upgraded to newer tools and introduced accessibility features like screen magnifiers and real-time captions—these improvements significantly boosted my learning efficiency.

Despite all these challenges, I remain confident that with the support of excellent teachers, dedicated staff, and helpful classmates, I will succeed. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue electrician certification in the construction field to complement my engineering studies and expand my career opportunities.
