The time of the year when the leaves change color and fall from trees is known by fall or autumn. In Canada it starts in September and goes until December followed by the winter. First, the days tend to be shorter in this season and the weather starts to get cold but this is not what is happening this year as we are experiencing warm autumn days. Last year for example, people were using really heavy coats at this time of year and now people can go outside with t-shirts. Second, Fall is a time for various festivities, including harvest celebrations and holidays such as Thanksgiving and Halloween and some funny activities are visiting pumpkin patches, apple picking, going on a scenic drive to see fall foliage, and attending fall festivals. In conclusion, autumn is a time of great fun and preparation for the very cold days ahead.
