Community

One experience I had was volunteering at a food bank in London, Ontario. I joined the event with some classmates from my ESL class. We helped organize food donations and pack boxes for families. I enjoyed it because I felt I was giving back to the community that welcomed me. It was also a good chance to practice English and meet new people from different backgrounds. Everyone was kind and worked together as a team. It made me feel useful and connected to the city.
