Hello everyone.

I am Hamidullah. I am writing about my first day in Canada.

I was very excited when first I arrived in Canada. Because everything was different for me. I was very comfortable. Because I passed the first day and night in a very modern hotel.

Canada was very different from Afghanistan. Because it’s a very improved country. And weather in Canada was a bit similar. Both countries have cold weather in general. Speaking English was easy for me to understand. But I couldn’t understand French. That’s why in the airport some people were talking in French. I hoped to bring my family to Canada. So I did it. I wanted to come to Canada to be safe and live a good life. I found some of the things match my dreams and some not. Like lots of facilities here but not an unstressed life. Everyone here has treated us the best. First days I felt very excited in Canada. I was feeling very alone in my first days. Then I found lots of friends. Finally I began to feel that I was in my own home and Country. When my wife and children have arrived in Canada and now I am very happy here.
