Canada

I´m from Colombia, a country with friendly people, pleasant weather, gastronomic variety and beautiful places, but unfortunately can be violent at times. That is why I had to migrate and look for a better future in a quiet country like is Canada. When I arrived at this country it was a challenge didn´t speak the language as I would like. From the beginning I began to study English, and I have had two excellent teachers, who have helped me improved my skills every day. Here I have found very special people, friends who have become like my family, who have been helping me overcome all the challenges that being a migrant, also I found a job in my field in the airline that represent my country here in Canada. 20 years ago, I dreamed of working there, a dream that I fulfilled here in Canada, although it has not been easy, I feel grateful to God for everything He has given me and the way I have advanced. Two years ago, when I arrived and I didn´t understand a word of the people when were talking to me, I wouldn´t have imagine the progress that I have made now. I´ll continue to fight every day for my dreams to come true and to build a happy and peaceful life in Canada.
