Hi, my name is Harpreet, and I am going to tell you how I will start my own cleaning company. I want to start this business because owning your own business lets you make more money and I can choose my hours. I will feel more free if I work for myself.

First, I have to choose what kind of cleaning I will offer. I will offer deep cleaning in offices.

Next, I have to register my business. I have to get a business license. Also, I have to make sure the name of my business isn’t being used by someone else.

Then, I have to buy insurance. This will protect any lost or broken equipment. This will protect me if I break anything that I am cleaning. There are three types of insurance I need.
- General Liability Insurance
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Contents Insurance

Those are to protect me from unhappy clients flood, fire, or anything else.

Afterwards, I need to buy equipment to start the cleaning business. I will need things like brooms dustpans,mops, bucket,s vacuums,rags,and squeegees.

When I have some more money in my account I will buy more equipment like: a steam cleaner, floor waxer, window cleaning kits, and a high pressure washer.

Lastly, I need to stay active on social media platforms like: X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
