Education

Countries have various education systems. Some countries' education systems can be really friendly for students yet others can be very tough. The reason why the education systems is varied is mainly due to the different ways that the teachers and parents treat children’s education.

There are similarities and differences between the education systems in Canada and China.

In China, parents put a great deal of effort into their children’s education because they all hope that their children will study hard and get good grades. And, this will ultimately help them get into a good university. However, in Canada I think that parents pay more attention to their children’s extracurricular activities rather than their academic performances. They hope that children can choose courses they are interested in and allow children to choose their own career paths.

In my opinion there are also some differences in the classrooms between China and Canada. In China, teachers pay attention to the grades of various subjects and the participation in various competitions. They hope that students will have active self-learning abilities. The school wants the students to be admitted to their ideal university so that this can bring honor to their school. Whereas, in Canada the teachers focus more on students' own will. Teachers like to guide students to learn several technical lessons according to the students' abilities. So, the students have the opportunities to get in touch with many skill-based courses.

Although there are differences in the education systems in different countries due to different national conditions. We can not say which is good or bad. The education system of each country is designed to help students achieve their own success in their future growth. Their education system is in order to help students for the growth of children. We can not say which one is good or bad.
