Travel (Outside of Canada)

The Eifel tower surrounded by the river greenery and a bridge under a cloudy sky in Paris in the eve

Last summer my friends and I decided to take a trip to Europe. Initially, we were all excited about exploring new cities and immersing ourselves in different cultures. However, as the trip progressed, we encountered several unexpected challenges that tested our friendship.

For example, on the first day in Paris, we got lost in the city and missed our reservation at a popular restaurant. This caused some tension among us, as we were all hungry and frustrated. Despite this setback, we eventually found a little quaint café where we enjoyed a delicious meal and laughed off our earlier mishap.

Throughout the trip, we experienced a mix of highs and lows. One minute we were marveling at the beauty of the Eiffel Tower, and the next we were arguing over where to go next. These contrasting moments highlighted the complexity of traveling with friends.

In the end, despite the challenges we faced, we all agreed that the trip was an unforgettable experience that strengthened our bond. We learned to communicate better, compromise, and appreciate each other's differences. As we boarded the plane back home, we were grateful for the memories we had created and excited for future adventures together.
