It is legal to grow marijuana for recreational and medical purposes in my country of origin. The subject is under discussion for several other regions because the legal permissions are available for specific landscapes not for the whole country. The controversy is either government has to make it legal for whole country or not. As per my viewpoint, it is good if government makes it legal. By doing this the production of medicines would be cheaper than now and government can export it to other countries.

Marijuana is one of the first grown plants by humans in history. It was used by humans more than 10,000 years ago. This is a multi-use plant. People use this for cloths, tents, drugs and several more things. With change in time and advancement in lifestyle the use of synthetic and artificial products increases day by day in the era of corporations that change mindset of peoples according to their benefits. Majority of governments are run by corporate houses by giving them commands from the back. Governments made new policies to give benefits to those heads, doesn’t matter if that are harmful for humanity and environment.

Same as this, synthetic drugs came on the market, and they increase the sale of drugs. Putting ban over natural substances such as marijuana and opium also increases the sale of synthetic products. On the prospective of harmful effects, marijuana is much better than alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol is much harmful, and tobacco causes cancer which are life threatening conditions. If marijuana were legalized by governments, people would reduce the use of alcohol and tobacco.
