I would like to tell you about my job and my regular work day. I am a maintenance mechanic and I work in a laundry company. I work with equipment such as washer machines, dryer machines, ironers, steamer conveyors and so on. My shift is starting at 12 p.m. and includes two parts. From the beginning of my shift until 3.30 p.m. I do preventive maintenance, for example: adding oil or grease, checking mechanical and electrical systems, and trying to find broken parts. The second part of my shift starts at 3:30 pm. At this time, many machines are turned off and I can repair or replace broken parts. I also clean and prepare the machines for tomorrow's shift. This is my usual work day.
