Education

Shot of kids doing their homework together

The idea that elementary school children should not have homework is a hot topic. Some people think that without homework, young kids can spend more time with their families, play, and learn social skills, which are very important. They feel that the school day is enough for learning and that homework can add too much stress. On the other hand, some believe that homework helps kids remember what they learned in school, teaches them responsibility, and builds good study habits. They think a small amount of homework, that isn't too hard, can be a good addition to what kids learn in class.

In my opinion, children should be given homework. This will help parents take an interest in their children's lives at school and help them. Also, it will help children achieve responsibility at work when they will know that they still need to do additional work and, of course, improve their skills.
