My name is Mona and in Syria I am a doctor. I would like to talk about my life briefly. Firstly, graduating from high school is the culmination of a journey full of challenges, difficulties, and sleeplessness, and the beginning of achieving the goal that you have aspired to since your childhood.
In 2015, I graduated from the University of Medicine under harsh and unsafe conditions. It has been my dream since childhood to become a doctor. Secondly, when I came to Canada, I faced many difficulties to complete my studies, including the language. My English is not bad but needs improvement. Life has been difficult but last year I obtained my clinical assistant certification. This year I am working in a clinic, and I am very happy to get this job because it gives me Canadian experience in the medical field.
What I need to achieve my dream is to set goals. It's the first step on the journey to making it happen. It is easy to set a goal, but difficult to reach it easily. It requires determination, perseverance, patience, skill development and diligence in study. I am working towards achieving my goal and graduating from college. I will achieve my goal, I will become financially independent, participate in community building, and become an active member of my community.
Therefore, setting goals and developing a plan to implement them is one of the first steps to building an effective society capable of keeping pace with rapid development and competition in the labour market. This is done by engaging individuals and benefiting from their experiences. In the end, I have to study and never give up until I reach my goal and forget the days of fatigue
