burglar at a window trying to break into house

I would like to tell you a story about a robbery about 15 years ago. At that time I was living in a flat near my parents. A crime took place at their flat while they were out one morning. It took place on Saturday morning when most people spend their time at home. In spite of that, none of the neighbours heard any noise and didn't notice anything suspicious.

The robbers came to our place when my parents were working. They were looking for the money everywhere, so it was an awful mess around all the rooms. All of the stuff was on the floor, even in the kitchen all of the grains and other foods were open and spread over. The robbers took the money and jewelry. They didn't touch any electronics, probably because they could be identified for it. My parents involved the police. Unfortunately, the robbers were not found.

It was a very stressful situation for our family. Fifteen years have passed since this event but we remember that time as not being the happiest. In such situations, you feel very unsafe. It is uncomfortable to understand that someone can come to your home anytime. In such situations, you start to think about your security well. You begin to understand that any safe precautions are important.
