Employment

a working woman

I have been working as an engineering company's office administrator for over a year now. It has forty employees of different nationalities and countries of origin and more than two hundred clients. The company provides to its employees a benefit coverage package and RRSP plan with a yearly performance and increasing salary. Social events like family picnics, corporate celebrations, and one-on-one meetings make people more comfortable with each other. At the end of the year, the company issues reports, sets goals and future plans for the next year. The office is located in a comfortable place and I am lucky to live within a five-minute walk. The working day usually starts at 8.30 am and ends at 5.00 pm with a time for a break. A flexible schedule allows me to include my appointments during the day. My responsibilities include supporting the Finance Department, planning and organizing meetings, participating and recording, and providing customer service during all interactions with clients and vendors. My job's most essential part is communicating with engineering project managers to update proposals and project records. I am an integral part of the company contributing to the growth and success of the organization. I want to continue developing my skills and knowledge to take on more responsibility within the company. I also look forward to taking on more leadership roles and mentoring other team members. I enjoy working there and I am proud to be a part of the amazing team of professionals.
