Planes in the sky; air show

It was Thursday, June 1, 2023. I was at work when someone from work said that he was planning to go to see the Snowbirds air show. He was so excited to see this show. I started to be interested too.

Since I recently moved here just a little bit more than 1 year ago, I hadn’t heard about this show before. I start asking questions. Where, when and how long would it be? I found out that this show would be on June 3, 4. It was the beginning of the air show tour for the Snowbirds Demonstration Squadron of the Canadian Forces. This show will visit 10 provinces in Canada this year and the first show would be in our city, Thunder Bay.

We decided to go to watch this show on Sunday after church. For me, at the first, I was just a little nervous because when I was a child in my city Lviv in Ukraine we had a similar show, but it had a bad end. One of two planes crashed and then many people died. But when we went to the show in Thunder Bay, I saw that show was taking place over Lake Superior and it was safe. Watching this show was a big pleasure. I didn’t see anything like this before. In this show there were 9 planes. They flew and showed tricks. When all 9 planes flew sideways together, you thought that it was just one plane. They rose and fell, twisted in the air, and they painted a heart in he sky. It was something amazing!

I can only advise everyone to go and see this show. I’m still so excited about this show. Just go to see it, and you will be excited like me too.
