Winter snow happy cold weather girl walking in snowing forest

I had never been to Canada before, and I had never thought about this country neither for traveling nor for living. But now we are here living, studying, working, making a new friends and starting a new life. This wonderful country gave us a great opportunity but at the same time gave us a lot of challenges.

However, my daughter and I are adjusting quickly to Canadian life. My daughter enjoys going to school, attending the pool, library, and community centre. She has made friends and is already fluent in English.

Honestly, I was impressed with so many services for newcomers such as Welcome centres, YMCA, Achēv, ACCESS Employment etc. In addition, Canadian libraries and community centres are a place where I can spend all weekend. I usually find interesting books about the history of Canada there, and my daughter chooses something for reading. Moreover, there are even audio books or movies, computers with Internet access, a children's playground, and cozy reading places.

Canada is the country of opportunities for immigrants. Here everyone is equal and is given the right to get any profession, build a career, give birth to children and be sure of the future.
