Work

Group of volunteer with sprout for growing

Volunteer work is a valuable experience for both individuals and the community. We can volunteer through non-profit organisations or with schools and colleges. We can donate money, clothes, or groceries to help those in need. Volunteering is a good activity; we can gain Canadian work experience, explore common interests, enjoy activities, and meet new people. Also, we can get relief from stress and loneliness.

I love to do volunteer work. In my home country, I always participated in volunteer activities in my school time. But some are the activities I don't like to participate in. Firstly, I think I can't volunteer in hospitals because I can't see patients with pain or in blood. Secondly, I am afraid of dogs, so I don't think I can volunteer with pets. These are two activities that I am not interested in doing in the future.

Volunteering is a treasured experience; it should be part of the school syllabus so that children are involved from a young age in social activities. It will help with their physical as well as mental development, except for studies. For example, on Earth Day, they will learn about cleaning and controlling pollution for the betterment of our environment through social activities. It will help with their physical as well as mental development, except for studies. Also, with social work, they will learn to greet new people, enjoy new company, and many more things. All activities are important for a young person's growth, so both parents and teachers need encourage them to participate in volunteer activities.
