My name is Lilian Grace, but since I was 11 years old my family and friends have called me. Grace. Apparently, my mom changed my name because that year my life was difficult. We had moved from another city and my best friend from the new city died. I’m the third of 4 siblings. My older brother died when he was 23 and I was 19. He was practicing rock climbing on a mountain. That was something very painful for my family and me.

I studied agronomy or agriculture sciences, but I started working at an environmental consulting company. The environmental law was promulgated exactly that year so there were new possibilities of jobs for people with my training.

I grew in this area until I got an environmental and community position at an energy generation company.

In 2015 I was checking my Facebook and I thought…” Does Todd, the boy I met in Greece in 1988, have a Facebook account, and I found him! He was divorced like me with two kids, just like me!! We began a connection that took its own rhythm until we married one year later.

Since then, we have been together, happy, enjoying life and love. He came to live with me in Chile for a year, but now we are living in Canada. Currently, I go to see my family in Chile twice a year.

When I first came to Canada, I used to work online for a Chilean company, but my desire is to find something to do where I live, here in Canada. I would like to connect with people and work as a part of a team. I hope it happens!!!
