Have you ever felt guilty for leaving behind your home country? I still consider my country one of the most beautiful countries in the world. However, when we talk about family, we always think about the best place to live and that is when Canada comes to mind. When I was single, I came on vacation to Canada with my mom and I told her, “I would like to live in Canada".

It took 6 years for us to finalize this adventure, and to get the documents, but I would do it again, it was worth it!

Canada welcomes each family with their culture, customs, and religion and this diversity makes Canada a great country. The people, the government, the laws, and the system allow you to come and feel at home with your customs, as long as the laws are respected.

We feel part of the community, my kids are free to go outside to play safely, and we have a good education, jobs, and good public services. What else can we ask for? Well, maybe the weather? Anyway, it was all worth it. Nothing is perfect after all!!!
