I am planning to have a driving license because I decided to buy a car. In general, I don’t like driving, however it is a must here in Canada as commuting using the public transportation take long time. First, I checked online for the required information needed to get my driving license in Canada. I found the procedure to get a driver license totally different from Lebanon.

In Lebanon, I registered in a driving school, and took ten lessons. The school booked me an appointment to do the test. Next, I did the knowledge and driving road exam at the same time, and I passed. Usually, the driving text take place in a specific area. We don’t drive in the real roads. In contrary, in Canada, I have to pass three tests in a different time. In the beginning, I registered for the knowledge test. I spent a week studying for the exam. Unfortunately, I did the exam and I only passed one part, as the test is composed in two parts, one for signals and other for penalties and rules. I repeated the exam after one week. Finally, I passed.

Secondly, it is time to go for the driving test. Although I have more than ten years of driving experience, I took almost ten lessons for the purpose to earn some experience on driving car on the streets of Ontario. Ultimately, I did G1 and I passed the exam in the first trial. It was a fascinating experience.
