In our family, we believe that when you travel you discover people and places, that's why we decided last summer to go for a long trip to Gaspésie in Quebec, with our family friends for ten days.

It was a very memorable trip for us. First, we headed to Ottawa to join our friends, then the following day we started our long journey at 4:00 a.m. which lasted 12 hours! It was very tiring, but the beauty of nature all along the trip made it acceptable.

Gaspésie is situated in the Atlantic Ocean which made me feel nostalgic with the memories of Morocco, my native country, which is situated along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Gaspésie has some stunning beaches surrounded by nice mountains. We fished every day and caught sea bass. It was very delicious and fresh. Also, we did some sightseeing like the pierced rock and the waterfall. We enjoyed swimming and also practicing our French.

Everything about the trip was great, however, I wasn't so keen about driving at night time on the way back home, and my feeling was right because we were so tired and the driving was scary and stressful. Next time we will plan it differently because safety is a priority. Overall, the trip was great and I would strongly recommend it.
