I was very smart in my childhood. I was called a gifted child. Adults asked me “what is your dream job?” I said, “I want to be a judge.” My parents always gave me books. My favourite book is a Talmud. I read the story of Solomon in the Talmud. Solomon’s trials were always wise. He is my hero. My dream did not change when I was 20 years old. I worked as a consultant for 15 years. My job was more important than my dream. My promotion was important. My dream was forgotten too. Then, I came to Canada eight
years ago, and I can study now. When I study I am not my son’s mother. I’m just myself. While studying, I found a dream job. I want to be a counseling psychologist. I understand the other person’s minds well. I want to listen to the broken-hearted people. I think the best therapy is to listen to stories. Here’s my plan: I will continue to study English, and I will major in psychology. I think it is a very attractive dream job. I
studied philosophy in a Korean university. Psychology is based on philosophy. English is the most necessary thing for me to have a dream job. I am a middle-aged woman, and I had a lot of experiences in my life. My dream job is much more detailed than my childhood’s. I’ll take a step towards my dream job. I believe in my talent and passion.
