Settlement

I came to Canada 10 years ago. I flew by airplane. Leaving my family behind in Vietnam to come to Canada was very difficult. The need to improve my life and my family’s life was a hard decision to make, but it had to be done. I was very lucky to have close relatives over here that could help me out. I was able to live and work with them to learn more about Canada. I felt very lucky to obtain this opportunity, while I was saddened that I had to leave my family behind.
