Homeland

My topic will be about a wonderful place where the most amazing memories are placed with the most amazing people of my country. It has been very difficult for Eritrea to gain her dependence and be her own country but as I mentioned above her people are strong and because of her people she was able to get her place in the map. These are two reasons why I love my country.

Its weather
Eritrea's weather unlike Canada's weather is mostly hot and rainy at some point in the season and it allows us to enjoy our time and get some fresh air. Therefore, it also allows us to grow our crops since most of Eritrea's people are farmers. Unlike in the capital city of Eritrea, Asmera. I lived in a village where our school was 20-30 min away. We used to walk with our friends to school enjoying the air and sometimes we have a race during our walk. The distance seems far but it was never to us because we had the love we needed and the weather as well was not a struggle for us.

Marriage
Our country has a scared tradition of marriages but they were followed properly more in the past. Our fathers and mothers have worked very hard to keep the tradition the way they were. Parents often select the right person to marry their daughter or son. The parents go mainly to the chosen women for their son and they ask his father and mother for the approval. Long story short, our fathers and mothers married each other without knowing one another but through health and sickness and through wealth through happiness, they kept their marriage away from divorce and the women give so much respect for her husband; that's why our marriages are sacred and a good role model to look upon.
