My home town is Vadodara in Gujarat state of India. Vadodara was previously known as Baroda. Vadodara is a beautiful city having many palaces and gardens, with wide roads in the city. Vadodara was previously the capital city of the Kingdom of Gaikwad.

Vadodara has a Maharaja Sayajirao University, an educational center of the city. In university there are many faculties of education like Science, Arts, Commerce, Medical, Engineering and many others subjects. A big hospital is attached to the medical college.

Vadodara has a big garden known as Kamati Baug. In this garden there, is a museum, planetarium, zoo and a toy train for the children to ride. Vadodara is known as a cultural city, famous for Garaba during Navaratri festival. Near the city there are many big industries like, GSFC, Reliance, Refinary, Alembic etc.

Vadodara is the best city to live in.
