Celebration

During the whole year there are different celebrations on different days. One of them is Mother's Day. Many countries all over the world celebrate Mother's Day, but some countries weren't celebrating Mothers Day. For example, in Eritrea. (Eritrea is one of east Africa’s largest country). There is no specific day to celebrate Mothers Day but it does not mean the population of the country does not understand the value of Eritrean moms. The people appreciate their moms and show them kindness, love and affection every single day.

On the other hand in Canada, Mother's day is celebrated only on one day of the year, when children, both young and old recognize and honour their mother's but, in Eritrea, it is not a statutory holiday. Children express their love, kindness and appreciation depending on their culture like making a Mother's card, sending chocolates and other gifts and doing the household chores of the day on Mother’s Day.

“All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” - Abraham Lincoln
