Do your children look like you?

Sometimes you need just a second to say that this baby looks like daddy or mommy. However, most of the time you ask yourself - Who does this child look like? This is exactly what happened to me. When my daughter was born, my mom told me that she looked just like my husband.

I was disappointed! For nine months she was growing in my belly. For nine months I shared my blood and body with her. All this time we were "one". And now, after all these months, "She Looks Like Daddy"!? I couldn't agree with that. Many times I tried to convince my family and friends that my daughter looks more like me, but I failed every time. There was nothing I could do about it.

Now, eight years later, my daughter has been growing and changing every day. In the same way, she still looks like my husband. The way she talks, moves and smiles, I can see him when I look at her. I'm not jealous anymore. Kateryna and I are best friends. We always have so much fun. She is my little girl and always will be no matter what, even if she looks like her daddy.
