Canada

Canada is the second largest country in the world and has a lot of land.  Can you believe that 40% of the country is cold and in the Arctic?  There are very few people living there except the Inuit, a group of Aboriginal people.  I’m not sure I’d be able to live in such cold weather!  Because Canada is so big, different regions have different time zones (which can often cause confusion)!  Canada’s beautiful capital is Ottawa, which has many great attractions, including the Parliament Building, which is gorgeous in summer surrounded by flowers, and the Rideau Canal, which is a winter wonder that many people enjoy skating on.  Canada is one of few countries in the world with a very low population density.  It is also a country that has a wealth of natural benefits.  The education system is so good here that we can boast many world-famous universities.

I like the natural environment in Canada and I love raising my children in such a good environment.  Children can grow up innocent and active here because they grow up with nature.  Most Canadians are kind and non-prejudicial so you can make many friends and adapt quickly to living in Canada.

Canada is a good place to travel to, with the best weather making its appearance in June and August.  Autumn is famous for autumnal colors in eastern Canada, and in winter, winter sports, such as skiing and snowboarding, are great.  Also, the Rocky Mountains are so beautiful.  Banff has many famous hot springs and lakes.

Canada has many beautiful natural landscapes and world-famous places to visit so, if you have time to spare, I recommend taking a leisurely trip to Canada!
