One of my dreams was to get my children registered in a great school. When we used to live in Lebanon, I looked through many schools but without avail. About three months before we came to Canada my husband decided to travel to Germany alone. Then he would have arranged for us to follow him. I didn't agree with him. I asked my husband to be patient and to pray. He did.

After 23 days, the Office of Lebanon contacted us to ask if we would like to travel to Canada. Without thinking my husband said "Absolutely”. However, my heart sank. I felt afraid and upset.

My husband could hardly believe it was true. I reassured him that he got what he prayed for. Next, we started making several appointments and arrangements with the Office of Immigration. Then the office informed us of our date of travel. It was time to say goodbye to our families.

We came to Canada on December 31st a couple years ago. At that time, I was nervous because I was uncertain of where we were going. Now, having lived in Canada for almost 4 years, I start feeling happier.
