Pets

Studio shot of a female Shih Tzu in isolated black background

Today I want to tell you a story about my first puppy, Lyya. The first time we met was 20 years ago. My little sister wanted my mother to get her a pet for her birthday, so we went to the pet shop. The moment we stepped into the shop, something barked at us. It was a puppy which seemed very exciting; he was Lyya. He stood up in his cage and started jumping up and down, as if he was saying, "I am here. Take me home!" At that moment, we knew he was the pet we wanted.

Lyya is a Shih Tzu. When he was a puppy, his face was brown and white. But when he grew up, all the brown fur was gone. He was like our baby and wherever we went, he would come with us. I bought a bag just for him so every time we went to the mall, he would immediately jump into the bag because he knew he would be going also. When the security guard came, we would tell him to "hide" and he would immediately stick his head back inside the bag, so no one would see him. Lyya passed away five years ago, and I still miss him very much. I believe he is in doggy heaven and he will be happy because there are no more sickness and pain. Lyya was just like my son, and I will never forget him. This is part of my story with my puppy; there are still a lot of funny things about him I would like to share but I'll tell you next time.
