Eid Adha or Eid Qurban, also called the “Festival of the Sacrifice”, is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year. Eid Adha comes two months and ten days after Ramadan. We buy new clothes and visit family, friends and neighbors. We serve our guests with the best foods, desserts and candies. Eidi is a gift that is given to children by the elders as part of celebration. The most common type of Eidi is money.
